I would highly recommend Tim Parsons for saxophone lessons.  We arranged lessons with Tim for one of our contestants on Take Me Out and the progress the contestant made in just a few lessons with Tim was very impressive. Tim worked with the contestant on his playing style and technique, adding grace notes, turns, spills and slurs, which gave an overall more polished performance to the peice. The contestant was very happy with the lessons with Tim and felt much more confident in his performance in studio. From a production point of view Tim was a pleasure to deal with and kept me up to speed on the contestant's progress at each stage. I would not hesistate to recommend him as a saxophone teacher.

Our 15 year son started taking saxophone lessons as a complete beginner.  Tim was always incredibly patient and encouraging.  He ensured that our son felt he was achieving and made sure that his playing progressed with every lesson using carefully prepared pieces of music which really appealed to him.  At the end of each session he was given a couple of pieces of music to practice before his next lesson which kept him motivated.  Our son thoroughly enjoys his lessons and has recently been asked to join the school saxophone group.
